Making a Purchase
Purchasing a maps is very simple. Follow the link to our partners secure site where you can select the format and scale of the map. You can highlight your property/area to outline in red if you wish. Once you are happy with your mapping proceed to the checkout. At that point you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept all cards except Amex.

As you are generating the map it will be available to download as soon as payment is received.

Shipping and Handling & Delivery Schedule
Should you have ordered paper copies in addition to an electronic copy, this will be dispatched next working day. We will send your paper map order to you by Royal Mail 1st class post, which should be with you within 3 – 5 business days. International orders are generally received within 10 – 14 days.

Back Orders
As all orders are for electronic mapping there are no back orders as such.

Currency of Data
We supply the latest available version of Ordnance Survey’s Mastermap Data, however we are not and will not be held responsible for errors or omissions in that data. Should you discover an error, please let us know & we will raise your concerns with Ordnance Survey. When printing off a map, please ensure that you do not “fit to page”. We will not be held responsible for mapping that has not been printed to scale.

Tax Charges
While paper mapping is not subject to VAT, all electronic mapping is subject to VAT which will be charged at the appropriate rate. Currently 20%. (i.e if you view and download mapping data then that is VATable.)

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is
added.

Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. We never see, have access to or hold your card details. They are not held in clear text on any website.

Privacy Policy
Nicolson Digital Ltd will never disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment process. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
